One of America's Castles
Located in Historic Hannibal, Missouri

Rockcliffe Mansion is a private residence and private property. However, recognizing its long-standing contribution to the local economy as a tourist attraction to the Hannibal area, and as a public service to the City of Hannibal and Marion County, its owners graciously allow the public to enter and stroll its grounds, enjoy a guided tour of the historic Mansion, and even stay over night in the Mansion if they so choose. Keeping the Mansion open to the public for guided tours and overnight stays, entails personnel costs (tour guides, B&B hostesses, etc.), utilities, supplies and other significant expenses. These costs are only partially defrayed by the price charged for guided tours and staying at the B&B. Restoration of the Mansion and its grounds is also an expensive on-going project. We hope you will visit the Hannibal area, and, while here, take a tour of this historic Mansion, and enjoy the spectacular view of the Mississippi River and City of Hannibal below.

Rockcliffe Mansion is open daily from March 15th though November 15th.

Guided Tours are given every hour, starting promptly at the top of the hour beginning 10:00 a.m. daily, Monday thru Sunday. The last tour of the day begins at 4:00 p.m. sharp. Guided Tours for any group of 5 or more persons can also be scheduled for any time, even after 4:00 p.m., by appointment.

In 2008, Rockcliffe planted a special rose bred and gifted to the Mansion by Dr. Michael Dykstra, rose enthusiast, who lives in nearby Canton, Mo. Rockcliffe's namesake rose was officially registered in the The American Rose Magazine's March/April 2009 Issue. The tall, fragrant, blended color, winter hardy rose is only grown in the gardens of Dr. Dykstra and here at Rockcliffe Mansion! We thank Dr. Dykstra for these beauties.
